Christ is risen! Hallelujah!
Blesssed morn of life and light;
Lo, the grave is rent asunder,
Death is conquered thro’ His might.
Chorus:
Christ is risen! Hallelujah!
Gladness fills the world today;
From the tomb that could not hold Him,
See, the stone is rolled away.
Christ is risen! Hallelujah!
Friends of Jesus, dry your tears;
Thro’ the vail of gloom and darkness
Lo, the Son of God appears.
Christ is risen! Hallelujah!
He hath risen as He said;
He is now the King of glory,
And our great exalted Head.

This is totally off topic, but your postings by Anne Johnson Flint inspired me. I searched the internet over and finally found a compilation of her poems in an out of print book from Canada. I gave it to my mom as a gift. She loves it! I stole it yesterday to read. Some of her poems are absolutely breathtaking. It is as if the Father, Himself, were breathing through them.
off topic but most welcomed. ;) i'm so glad to hear of others who enjoy her poems as i do. she's one of my favorite poets next to amy carmichael. glad your mum enjoys the book you got her. but here's a link to a whole collection of her poems, http://www.blessedquietness.com/journal/homemake/annie.htm
