Gems from my reading

Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that He was seen... - 1 Corinthians 15:3-5

One Efficacious Factor
Christ (the majesty of His Person)
died (the mystery of His Passion)
for our sins (the marvel of His Provision)

Two Essential Factors
* Christ died according to the Scriptures
* Christ was raised according to the Scriptures

Two Establishing Factors
* Christ was buried signifying that He died
* Christ was seen signifying that He was raised

Hey sir...
I decided already!! :)
Will be going to NUS 4 chem engineering...near to home, transportation convenience, guranteed accomodation, tuition grant...sounds like a great offer...
Sigh..there's juz sth i'm afraid of..chem eng in NUS..i'll be in the middle of a bunch of top students..afraid i won't be able to keep up to their pace..hear alot about the intense competition there..

dont worry about the competition for now. as long as you're in the Lord's will, He'll take care of everything. speaking of which, when will you be going and have you found a church over there?

i know a church you could go to if you want and can make arrangements for you to be brought there. but you will need to be very teachable and listen to what they say. believe me, it's for your own good. :) sticking to just the christian fellowship may not necessarily be a good idea. so you want?

Hi sir..
Thnx 4 the offer :) Is it brethren? Wat's the name of the church? My elder's daughter is in Singapore too..maybe she's attending the same church also..Sir, i wanna come visit the teachers b4 i go...when will the teachers be free?

well, it is an assembly that seeks to follow the pattern of the new testament if that's what you mean by 'brethren'. it is very bible based so you cant go wrong. the believers i'm talking about meet at joo chiat gospel hall. like i said, if you're interested, i can introduce you to some people there even before you go and arrange for you to go there. do find out where your elder's daughter is going.

as for the teachers, we should all be around next week onwards. this week is term break. by the way, why dont you just email me instead of corresponding here in the comments section? ;)
